Ordering & Shipping

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders arrive within 2–4 weeks from the date of purchase, including production and shipping time. This timeline applies to all prints, whether standard editions or custom work. Tracking information is automatically emailed once your print ships from our production lab.

Why this matters: Fine art prints are made-to-order using archival pigment inks on museum-quality paper. This ensures each piece meets our standards for color accuracy, detail, and longevity.

Do you offer express or expedited shipping?

Yes. We offer expedited shipping options for an additional charge if you need your print sooner. Contact us with your timeline and we can provide a quote.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — international shipping is charged at full cost. We are not responsible for duties or taxes. For a quote, please contact us with your order details and shipping address.

Can I cancel my order?

Print and edition sales are treated as final. Because work is often produced to order, we may not be able to cancel or change an order once production or fulfilment has started. Contact us as soon as possible and we will confirm what is possible for your order.

What if an image is sold out?

If a limited edition sells out completely, that image is permanently retired at that size. However, we can often create a custom 1/1 (one-of-one) print for collectors interested in the image. This would be a bespoke order outside the standard edition. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs and pricing.

How are your prints produced?

All Untameable prints are created using archival pigment-based giclée printing on museum-quality fine art paper or canvas. This process uses archival pigment inks on acid-free papers for museum-grade longevity and color fidelity. Each print is individually crafted to preserve the finest details, tonal transitions, and color accuracy of the original photograph.

What materials do you use?

We use hand-selected fine art papers and archival pigment inks rated for 70–100+ years of display life without significant fading when properly cared for. All materials meet industry archival standards for fine art reproduction.

Services

Do you offer private shoots or commissions?

We can accommodate custom photography work, though Lucy Dahl's primary focus is gallery collections, so will not be photographing you herself. If you're interested in a private shoot or custom commission, please contact us directly to discuss your project, timeline, and investment.

Color & Format

If an image is available in both black & white and colour, can I switch between them?

No. Once you've selected an image in a specific colour treatment (black & white or colour), that edition is locked to that treatment. However, many of our images are available in both formats—you can simply purchase the alternate treatment as a separate piece if desired.

Custom Orders & Special Requests

How do I order a custom print or special request?

For custom sizing, special formats, or other requests not listed on the standard product pages, please contact us directly. We review each request individually to ensure the final print maintains our standards for artistic integrity and visual quality.

How do I pay for custom orders?

Once we confirm the details of your custom order and provide you with a quote, we'll send you a secure payment link. Payment can be completed via credit card through our secure checkout.

Seasonal & Off-Catalogue Sales

Do you sell prints off-season?

Yes. All available images and editions are offered for sale year-round via this website. There are no seasonal closures—you can browse and order anytime.

Returns & Damage

What's your return policy?

Due to the custom nature of limited edition fine art, all sales are final. Limited edition prints cannot be returned or exchanged.

Damaged items: If your print arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it free of charge. Please inspect your package upon delivery and contact us immediately with photos if you notice any damage.
